Dr. Charudutt Apte
Chairman & Managing Director
Known to his friends as "Charu" had a brilliant academic career, culminating in his graduation as a Neurosurgeon from Christian Medical College, Vellore. He was awarded the Best Outgoing Student from B.J.M.C. (Pune) in 1976 and a gold medal from C.M.C. Vellore for post graduation.
His pioneering contributions in the field of Research and Development include the first Indigenous Stereotatic equipment in 1991. First Indigenous Radio Frequency Lesion Generator in 1996. First subarachnoid screw for measuring Intra Cranial Pressure monitoring in 1995. First functional Neurosurgery in Pune in 1997. He established Pune Institute of Neurology the only dedicated Neurosciences unit in Western Maharashtra in 1994.
His contribution towards community social causes is also tremendous. He started "Samavedana" Charity fund in 2003 where thousands of poor patients have benefited. He also started the Senior Citizens Health Scheme under which speciality care is made affordable to Senior Citizen in Pune, who do not get Insurance cover for Medical treatment. He is a recipient of many laurels and awards and leads the Sahyadri Group of Hospital as the Chairman & Managing Director.

Dr. Jayashree Apte
CEO
Known to her friends as "Jaya" completed her graduation and postgraduation in Anaesthesia from BJMC, Pune University in 1981. She started her career as an Anesthetist in CMC, Vellore as a lecturer till 1985. She then returned to Pune in 1985, specialized as a Neuro Anaesthetist. She joined Pune Institute of Neurology in 1994, since its inception and was the HOD of Anesthesia and the OT Complex.
In 2004, She joined the Sahyadri Group of Hospitals as HOD of Anesthesia and got involved with the Operations Team at SSH. She currently leads the Operations of the Sahyadri Group of Hospitals as CEO and plays a vital role in the expansion plans of the group.

Mr. Sadanand Bapat
Director, Sahyadri Hospitals Ltd.
He is popularly known as “Nanda". He completed his graduation from Coimbatore and post graduation in Management from Pune University. He started his career with Chowgule Industries where he grew from a Management Trainee to General Manager, Sales. Subsequently his Entrepreneurial instinct took over and he moved to Chennai in 1980, wih a rapid expansion in business. Since 1984, he has set up and successfully run many manufacturing units and has extensive trading penetration in the liquor industry.
He has been a Director in Sahyadri Hospitals since 1998, and an active member of the Executive Committee of Sahyadri Hospitals Ltd. He also looks after finance and Marketing of Sahyadri Group of Hospitals.

Mr. Prakash Tulpule

Director and HOD of Sahyadri Speciality Lab
He completed his postgraduate studies in psychology from Pune University and has been involved in manufacturing of equipment for Psychology Testing and Physical Medicine over the last 30 yrs. throughout India. He has vast organizational experience being at the helm of affairs of Table Tennis Associations at the local and national level. He has also been awarded the “Symbiosis Kreeda Bhushan".
He is actively and closely involved with the Sahyadri Group since its inception. He is the Executive Director of Sahyadri Hospitals Ltd. He is also a “Core Group" member of Sahyadri Group and is the administrative & functional head of the Sahyadri Speciality Lab, and looks after projects.

Dr. Deepa Divekar

Completed her graduation and postgraduation in Paediatrics from BJMC , Pune University in 1981. After practicing in Pune for few years as a Pediatrician she did a fellowship in Pediatric Neurology from the Children's Hospital at Great Ormond Street, London in 1992. She has been a pioneer in Pediatric Neurology in Pune and has been spearheading the “Childhood Epilepsy Programme” since 1998. She is an active member of the “Core Group” of Sahyadri Group of Hospitals and is also the Medical Director of Sahyadri Speciality Hospitals and the Director of Research and Academics in Sahyadri Hospitals Ltd.

Mr. Nitin Desai
Director - Sahyadri Hospitals Ltd.
A post graduate in Civil Engineering from the US of A, he joined his family business – M/S Desai Brothers Ltd. of which he is today the Vice Chairman and Managing Director. A philanthropist by heart, apart from being a founder President of Pune Institute of Neurology and a Director in the Sahyadri Group, he is also Vice President of Poona Blind Men's Association, Co-Chairman of H.V. Desai Eye Hospital and is associated with various social organizations like Janseva Foundation (old age home and hospital), Vanrai etc. He was chairman of Society for Physically Handicapped, Wanworie. He is a member of the Managing Committee and Trustee of Poona Gujarati Kelvani Mandal, which imparts education to various institutions from Kindergarten to Post graduation in Arts, Science and Commerce faculty. He is involved in Rotary activity for many years.

He has had a brilliant academic career.
He stood 3rd in B. Com – Pune University.
He stood 1st in M.Com – Pune University
He secured 5th rank in All India in F.C.A. and received the 1st Prize in Company Law and Taxation group.
In his professional career, he has dealt with and successfully handled various Corporate and Legal matters under Tax and Company Law, MRTP Act, FERA / FEMA etc for Industrial and Corporate firms.
He has been invited to deliver lectures at various National and International forums.
He is Director and Chairman of Audit Committee
He was also the former President of Pune Chartered Accounts Society, Pune
