Mr. PV, a 50 year old gentleman, a chemical engineer, was diagnosed in June 2010 with a lesion in brain upon investigation for complaints of swaying to left side. He was operated for the same. A search for possible primary revealed it was cancer arising from lungs which had spread to the brain. Post operatively he underwent whole brain radiation. Further he has been put on tablet form of chemotherapy (gefitinib) and has completed 2 cycles. An evaluation is showing good response of the tumor to the therapy. We wish him all the best.
