59 year old gentleman, a case of carcinoma colon

Mr. NG, a 59 year old gentleman, is a case of carcinoma colon, first diagnosed in 2006. He underwent surgery followed by 6 cycles of chemotherapy for the same. He was disease free till 2009 when he had a recurrence of the disease for which repeat surgery was done and then repeat sessions of chemotherapy were administered. Unfortunately he again developed a disseminated disease in April 2010, underwent a repeat surgery and intraperitoneal chemotherapy. To his bad luck, the disease came back in a few months time, and presently he is on chemotherapy from our side. He has been taking it very positively and has managed to complete 4 cycles of therapy and is now due for evaluation. He sounds very positive. We wish him all the best.
