Critical Care Unit

The critical care unit at Sahyadri Speciality Hospital has several wings of care.

  • Neuro and Trauma ICU - 8 beds
  • General ICU A – 12 beds
    ICU B – 16 beds
    CCU – 5 beds
  • HDU (High Dependence Unit) – 11 beds
    Cardiac HDU – 5 beds
  • 2 separate Isolation rooms for infected patients within the ICU.
  • 2 beds reserved for Hemodialysis in HDU.
  • 2 beds reserved for special needs patients in ICU B.

All these units are headed by team of dedicated Intensivist.
The Doctor: Patient ratio is 1:4
Nurse: Patient ratio is 1:2
In very serious and complicated patient 1:1

Secondary level critical care services at all other centers in Pune.

This is the corner stone of SSH which covers all specialties from simple fevers to Critical Care.
